STILLMEADOW FINN RAMS
MOONSHADOW ~ COOK NY41-0074, FBA 24102
birthdate - 3/26/ 08 twin black Badgerface
Sire - FBA 23715 WITT VA26-212 quad black
Dam - FBA 23542 COOK NY41-0042 tr.grey,12mo.
Moonshadow has given strong lambs with beautiful soft, lustrous fleeces. He repeats his color pattern often when bred to solid colored ewes. His fleece has a fine hand and a medium crimp. I have been exceedingly pleased with this fine ram.
ROAMIN ~ STILLMEADOW 647 FBA23900
birthdate -5/27/07 twin - white
Sire - FBA 23089 WITT VA26-202, Fudge, quint brown
Dam- FBA 23225, Stillmeadow 617, Mint, triplet white, 12 mo.
Roamin is a large, muscular ram whose dam has a lambing record of 2,3,3,3,3 live births. His lambs
carry on the tradition of maternal traits with ease of lambing and dairy type udders. Recessive color genes are controlled by ewes bred to him.
Fleece quality is superbly soft with great luster & heavy yield, a significantly heritable factor. His temperament makes him a favorite.
FLASH ~ STILLMEADOW 761, FBA #24894
birthdate - 4/23/10 quad , Brown
Sire - Chance, Eldorado 117, twin brown
Dam - Whisper, Stillmeadow 657, tr black
Flash is a medium brown quad with three black littermates. His dam is daughter of the brown quintuplet ram, Fudge, which brought this recessive color to my flock a few years ago. Flash has supersoft perfect fleece which retains the medium brown birth color beneath the sun tipping displayed at left. His sweet temperament has made him my number one choice for siring brown lambs. Notice how he has grown in his initial year to the age of 15 months as shown above.
He is now sold, but his 2012 lambs will be born in March
STILLMEADOW has two new FINN RAMS !
In October we travelled to HARLEQUIN FARM
where we chose a white quad, "FREEDOM", and
a white triplet, "GABRIEL", to join our group of
registered studs. Both have superior structure &
ultra fine fleece quality plus friendly attitudes.
They carry recessive color & include genetics from
early Stillmeadow & House Mountain Finnsheep.
These young rams have tested Negative for O.P.P.
and Johnes disease and have terrific potential as
flock sires.
